I am licensed in AZ, DC, and MN. I can also provide interstate teletherapy through PSYPACT in multiple states, excluding Alaska, California, Iowa, Louisiana, Montana, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, and Vermont.

Call 520-428-0341 to schedule an appointment or to leave a confidential voice message. I typically return phone calls within 24-48 hours. Once you are an established client, you can request an appointment through my online portal.

The initial 60 min session is a time to gather information about current concerns, stressors, social history, and develop a treatment plan with therapeutic goals. Subsequent sessions are typically 30 -45 minutes. Sessions typically begin by discussing how you’ve been and any progress or hiccups you may have encountered since our last session. As therapy progresses we will periodically review progress, treatment plans and adjust therapeutic goals accordingly.

Health insurance plans require a mental health diagnosis to cover services rendered. Some people prefer not to have a “label” or have their diagnosis follow them in their permanent medical record. It may be that an individual is seeking therapy for reasons such as adjusting to a “new normal”, seeking balance in their life, or hoping to rediscover their authentic self which do not meet criteria for a specific diagnosis.

As a private paying client, some additional advantages include

· No contact needed with a third-party payer (i.e. insurance company)

· Ability to choose your therapist based on personal values and needs

· Ability to determine length of treatment and care

I accept AZ BCBS, AETNA, UMR, UHC, and Medica MN Preferred. I will submit all claims for you. I do not accept Medicare nor Medicaid.

All fees are paid via credit card or HSA card. I use a HIPAA Compliant payment system to collect payments.  During our initial session, you will be asked to place a card of your choice on file. Your card will be automatically charged following your appointments.
